adventures are the best way to learn

Adventure is a path.

A travel adventure forces you to have firsthand encounters with the world. The world the way it is, not the way you imagine it. Travel has the power to change lives and pave the way for success. With Get Away To Educate, your child will be immersed in global learning opportunities that will fuel curiosity, boost independence and drive them toward a brighter future. And did we mention they’ll have an incredible time?

The perfect mix of education and travel

Sightseeing and museums are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to educational travel with Get Away To Educate. Our aim is to bring culture and history to life and to do this we work with teachers to identify key learning objectives and weave them into the itinerary. We also introduce students to unique cultural experiences, like Irish dancing lessons, cookery classes, drama workshops and storytelling. And that’s just the beginning!

“What I found with Get Away To Educate was that they really cared about providing the best possible experience for each person. Their attention detail was amazing and made us feel totally safe and secure to enjoy ourselves.”Karolina W. Group Leader

Safety is our priority

You can breathe easy while your child travels with Get Away To Educate. Our safety and support infrastructure has been a cornerstone of our business since we got involved in group travel over 20 years ago. Our extremely experienced support staff and tour guides will make sure everything runs smoothly and safely.

What your child can expect on their Educational Trip

Our tours are designed by professionals with years of experience in group travel. Therefore you can expect your child’s tour to be adventurous, inspiring, active and most importantly of all, it will be great fun. We want to ensure your child returns home with memories to last a lifetime.

Daily Schedule

Each tour has just the right mix of  educational excursions and free time for exploration. The daily schedule will, of course, vary depending on location, type of tour and if it is travel-intensive or a more leisurely, single-city program. Typically, wake up bright and early, and after breakfast, enjoy a morning excursion. There might be a sightseeing tour, cultural connection, entrance to a museum or walking tour. Then some time for lunch and then another activity. The evening meal will be in the town, with free time to enjoy the evening.

Cultural Immersion

Cultural immersion, included on every international tour, takes cultural understanding to a whole new level. Through immersive activities such as learning the steps of Irish dancing or a French cooking class, students have the opportunity to view a culture from a much closer perspective, therefore enhancing the educational experience.

Get Away To Educate will help you make the most of your child’s time on tour by arranging accommodation in extremely safe and convenient locations. There is a range of accomodation options available, from luxury castle hotels, 3 or 4 star hotels, hostels, homestays and depending on the activity, camping may also be possible.

Exploring the world is hungry work – never underestimate the importance of food to teenagers! As well as castles and museums food can be just as an important part of the cultural experience. Evening meals will be in recommended local restaurants. Breakfasts are typically provided at your hotel and lunch is generally available on your own. We will always guide you to the best place for a delicious and nutricious bite to eat.
